A scenic and historic ride to capture the State Rose Garden in full bloom.Depart at 10.00 from Hoppers Xing Stn along Hoppers Lane and the Fed Trail to the W'bee River. We then follow the river to cross it close to the historic blue stone ford. We then ride through the grounds of Werribee Mansion to the Rose Garden. Following this we proceed to the viewing cliffs on K Road before cycling along Diggers Rd to our lunch stop (Anglers Anchorage Cafe, outdoor seating, eta 13.30). We return along O'Connors Rd and Hoppers Lane to return to Hoppers Stn.
Note, the ride includes some road use and there is one downhill section of loose stone (walk down option).
