Another beautiful ride with a new bit. We depart from Altona Pier at 10.00 riding along the Coastal Path to Williamstown and on to the Punt (eta 11.00). From the Punt ($5.00) we cycle along Lorimer St to join the River Esplanade and the South Bank Promenade before paralleling the Yarra River and joining the Gardiners Creek Trail. The final stage is along the Anniversary Trail to Ashburton and on to Burwood Metro Station for lunch at the Golden Child. Our 14 km return is along the Ferndale and Gardiners Trls to Flinders St Stn.Distances: 56 km from Altona and 41 km from the Punt.
