Sun V Set is the musical project of Linnea Morgan, a Richmond–based singer-songwriter and musical creative whose sound is characterized by dreamy vocals and lilting melodies over rhythmic acoustic guitar. Much of Sun V Set's writing is nature-inspired with a mythic twist: otherworldly-storytelling that is equal parts moon-veiled and honey-sweet. What started as an indie-rock trio with drummer Ethan Johnstone and bassist Ethan Kuhn has evolved into a chamber folk project with a sprawling collective of collaborators, including Tristan Brennis on clarinet and Brandon Simmons on flute.
4la7la, pronounced ‘for layla’ is a singer, songwriter and instrumentalist based in Virginia. 4la7la creates emotionally immersive soundscapes rooted in vulnerability, transformation and cinematic intimacy. Blending lo-fi textures, piano-led melodies and ambient production, her work reflects a world in flux; drifting in dreamlike narratives. Since debuting in 2023, she has quickly carved out a space in the indie alt-pop space with series of singles that evoke introspection and emotional clarity. Her sonic sound lives somewhere between the softness of a dream and the crispness of modern R&B. All music under 4la7la is made possible through the production, constant collaborator and brother, Abraham Kadi.
