Over the past few weeks, we’ve been working hard to organize, move, set up, restock, and bring these sales to different parts of Las Vegas as a way to raise money toward the thousands of dollars in veterinary bills Desert Whiskers Rescue has recently incurred.
These events take a tremendous amount of work behind the scenes, but the support we’ve received from the community has made it worthwhile. We’re hoping to finish this series strong in Sun City Summerlin. ❤️
This weekend is also extra special because we’re partnering with Katmandu Kats. A portion of Desert Whiskers Rescue’s sales from this event will be donated to help support the work they do for cats in our community.
We believe local rescues can accomplish more when we support one another, and we’re excited to finish this fundraising series alongside another organization working to help Las Vegas cats.
Every purchase makes a difference. Proceeds from our sale help Desert Whiskers Rescue tackle our recent veterinary expenses, while a portion of this weekend’s sales will also benefit Katmandu Kats.
Our sale is part of the larger Sun City Summerlin Community Garage Sale. After shopping with us, you can continue exploring garage sales throughout the greater Sun City Summerlin community and make a morning or afternoon of it.
Come early for the best selection!
If you’re planning to stop by, please mark yourself Going or Interested so Facebook can remind you — and invite your friends, family, neighbors, and fellow bargain hunters.
We can’t wait to see you Friday and Saturday!
