About this Event
We need some amazing volunteers to help us with a day full of art activities, workshops, maker demos and so much more!. We have 3 shifts available (3 hours each), shifts will be on a first RSVP, first serve basis. Thank you so much in advance and we truly appreciate your support! Summer Stack is presented by Art of the Bay Collective and South Bay Makers.
In the morning/afternoon you’ll receive the following :
- Volunteer button
- Event map & schedule
- Food voucher ticket
- Access to snacks & water
MORNING SHIFT: Please arrive at 10am, shift ends at 1pm (3 hours total)
- Assist with parking directions
- Assisting vendors with booth location info
- Helping with overall event setup tasks (ex. Table setup, move chairs, setup props, etc)
- Overall assistance to vendors (ex. oversee their booth if they need a bathroom break, need a water or snack, etc)
- Assist with event entrance & merchandise table
- Keep an eye on event props to make sure they’re not damaged please
- Help with keeping a healthy traffic flow (ex. Make sure guests aren’t blocking walkways)
- Replenish supplies and overall cleanup
- Overall assistance to event guests (ex. if they have questions about vendor booth location, bathroom directions, etc)
AFTERNOON SHIFT: Please arrive at 1pm, shift ends at 4pm (3 hours total)
- Assisting our staff with any workshop support (ex. Setup, cleanup, assisting workshop guests, etc)
- Overall assistance to vendors (ex. oversee their booth if they need a bathroom break, need a water or snack, etc)
- Assist with event entrance & merchandise table
- Keep an eye on event props to make sure they’re not damaged please
- Help with keeping a healthy crowd traffic flow
- Overall assistance to event guests (ex. if they have questions about vendor booth location, bathroom directions, etc)
- Replenish supplies and overall cleanup
EVENING SHIFT: Please arrive at 4pm, shift ends at 7pm (3 hours total)
- Assisting our staff with any workshop support (ex. Setup, cleanup, assisting workshop guests, etc)
- Overall assistance to vendors (ex. oversee their booth if they need a bathroom break, need a water or snack, etc)
- Assist with event entrance & merchandise table in the Lobby
- Keep an eye on event props to make sure they’re not damaged please
- Help with keeping a healthy crowd traffic flow
- Overall assistance to event guests (ex. if they have questions about vendor booth location, bathroom directions, etc)
- Replenish supplies and overall cleanup
- Helping with event breakdown tasks (ex. Main hall clean up, assist with workshop area cleanup, etc)
