Join the Counselling Team at University Centre Weston’s Winter Gardens campus for a series of creative wellbeing activity sessions designed to encourage self-expression, reflection and relaxation in a welcoming and supportive environment.
Please book a ticket for every person attending, including children.
There are no age requirements, but all children must be accompanied by an adult.
10:00am - 12:00pm: Puppet Making & Exploration
A fun and creative session for all ages, encouraging participants to reconnect with their imagination and explore thoughts through puppet making. Using simple templates and creative materials, you’ll design your own puppet while engaging in a playful activity inspired by creative arts therapy techniques.
Please note: this is a drop-in session running throughout the morning, so you can arrive at any time between 10:00am and 11:30am.
1:30pm – 2:30pm: Compassion & Wellbeing Through Creativity
Take time to focus on yourself in this calming and reflective workshop centred around self-compassion and wellbeing. Through a variety of creative taster activities and guided exercises, participants can explore different ways of practicing self-kindness and supporting emotional wellbeing.
3:00pm - 4:00pm: Exploring Emotions Through Art
Experience how art and music can work together to express emotion and creativity. This interactive session invites participants to paint while listening to different styles of music, exploring how colours, sounds and feelings connect in unique and personal ways.
