Our summer gatherings run outside the main September–April programme, giving both members and non‑members a relaxed chance to meet up, socialise, and enjoy some photography together during the lighter evenings. Coombe Abbey offers a brilliant mix of subjects — sweeping parkland, mature woodland, lakeside wildlife, and the striking architecture of the Abbey itself. Whether you’re into landscapes, details, wildlife, or experimenting with evening light, there’s plenty to explore at your own pace.
As with all our summer socials, attendees make their own way to the location and cover any parking or entry costs required.
Everyone is welcome — bring your camera, enjoy a relaxed evening out, and spend time shooting alongside friendly faces.
