A bit about our esteemed presenter:
Susan Curbishley is passionate about music education. A
lifelong learner herself, Susan combines her love of
teaching and her passion for music with a strong belief
that everyone can experience success and joy through
music.
In April 2026, after 38 years of full-time teaching, Susan
retired—only to find that she has never been busier! She
now works with students from preschool through to
university level and continues to provide music training for
classroom teachers.
Susan has a particular passion for using music play with
students of all abilities, creating inclusive and engaging
experiences that help every learner unlock the joy of
music.
Susan currently lives in the ACT.
