🎶 CARBONDALE, LET’S MAKE SOME MEMORIES! 🎶SUMMER of ’86 is coming to Tres Hombres on Friday, March 26, 2027, at 6 p.m.! Join Jermaine Bollinger for an evening of live music, familiar favorites, and songs that take you right back to the moments you first heard them.
There’s something special about hearing a song you haven’t thought about in years and realizing you still know every word. That’s part of what SUMMER of ’86 is all about: revisiting music that became part of our lives and sharing those memories together.
From the unmistakable groove of Bill Withers’ “Use Me” to Stevie Wonder’s “Superstition,” Jermaine brings his own approach to favorites spanning pop, rock, R&B, and soul. With music from artists like Journey and The Beatles, the evening offers opportunities to sing along, settle into a familiar groove, and rediscover a favorite.
Songs like “Come Together” have a personality you recognize from the opening notes. Others bring back a particular summer, a favorite road trip, or someone who introduced you to music you still love today. Those connections are a big part of what makes performing these songs so meaningful.
As a vocalist, multi-instrumentalist, and lifelong music lover, Jermaine chooses songs for more than their place on a chart. Some bring back childhood memories. Some remind him of people he loves. Others earn their spot because of the way a room responds when those first familiar notes begin.
That connection makes every show different. You might hear a longtime favorite, rediscover a song you’d forgotten, or find yourself singing along with someone at the next table. Have a request? Send it his way! Jermaine will give it a shot when he can.
Bring your friends, make an evening of it, and help welcome SUMMER of ’86 to Tres Hombres!
