What will this workshop cover?This lovely workshop is a great way to escape and immerse yourself into the art of pastels. Nina, your tutor will be showing you how versatile pastel mat is using water with the pastels to make a lovely smooth background. And you will explore how to use pastels to create this lovely image.
Your tutor will supply:
Mount board
Light grey pastelmat paper + small piece for practice
Reference photo
Paper for resting on to prevent smudging
Kitchen roll,
Masking tape
Wipes – hands will get messy
Who is this workshop for?
Absolutely anyone, from beginner to someone more experienced with using pastels.
Who is your tutor?
The lovely Nina is your tutor for the day, who is a very experienced pastels artist.
What do you need to bring?
If you have any pastels and/or a blending tool please bring them on the day.
Other things you need to know
Please note that the workshop is held upstairs. Refreshments are included in the fee, please let us know if you have any dietary requirements. The workshops at LilyBoo have brought together people for a chat, to learn something new and there is always lots of laughter.
