On Friday, August 14th, Fountain Plaza comes alive with the irresistible Latin rhythms of CONJUNTO ALEGRE — one of the Pacific Northwest’s longest-standing and most recognized Latin bands!
For decades, Conjunto Alegre has been a driving force in Oregon and Washington’s Latin music scene, helping introduce audiences throughout the region to the sounds of salsa, merengue, cumbia, bachata, chachachá and more. Their high-energy performances have landed them on stages alongside internationally recognized artists including Tito Puente, Grupo Niche, Sonora Carruseles, Oscar D’León and others, as well as performances connected with Cirque du Soleil in Portland and Seattle.
? Their impressive performance history includes the Portland Rose Festival, Portland Cinco de Mayo, Mt. Hood Jazz Festival, Salem World Beat Festival and Oregon Country Fair, along with countless concerts, festivals and community celebrations throughout the Pacific Northwest.
