STOP is designed to build on your existing knowledge and increase your confidence to provide support effectively.
This training is part of the Targeted Suicide Prevention Programme, delivered by If U Care Share Foundation in partnership with Darlington Borough Council. Our goal is to empower communities with the knowledge and confidence to make a difference.
Ideal for: Professionals and community members who want to deepen their understanding and response skills.
This one day, in-person workshop builds on Tier 1 and Tier 2 content with a more detailed exploration of suicide risk and how to have supportive conversations. As well as how to support those bereved by suicide.
Participants will be introduced to the SHARES model and learn how to respond effectively in crisis situations, including how to refer individuals to appropriate support services.

This training is exclusively available to individuals who live, work, or provide services within the Darlington Borough Council catchment area. If you do not meet this criterion, we kindly ask that you do not proceed with registration. This ensures the training reaches those it is intended to support within the local community.
