Following Sugar’s sold-out show at the Georgia Theatre, the night moves across the street to Nowhere Bar for a late show featuring Crazier, Lazy Horse, and DJ Z-Dog. As their Athens show marks Sugar’s final stop on tour, the Sugar After Party offers an Athens-rooted celebration via the evening’s lineup.Crazier is Eli Raps, Alex Dillon, and Winston & Henry Barbe (sons of Sugar’s David Barbe). As small as they are infamous, the group puts the songs first, maintaining an approach that is equal parts anti-coward and anti-cowboy.
The After Party will also feature a Neil Young cover set from Lazy Horse, with DJ Z-Dog opening the night with sets curated for fans of Sugar. Tickets are $15, with a $10 price available to fans who attended the Sugar show at the Georgia Theatre.
