Sufi Sound Bath & Gentle Breathworkwith Mahzoon & Mateusz Krawiec
1 November
1700 - 1900
Urban OM · 2 hours
An evening combining gentle breathwork, movement, Sufi musical traditions, and immersive sound.
The session begins with gentle breathwork and guided movement, allowing the body to settle, open, and arrive in the present moment. The practice then transitions into an extended sound bath—a space to lie down, listen, and experience the restorative qualities of sound.
Mahzoon, an Iranian Sufi master and musician, will perform on traditional Iranian instruments, including the muraj, tambour, and daf, drawing on the musical and contemplative traditions of Sufism.
Mateusz will work with a large drum, didgeridoo, large low-frequency-tuned gongs, and crystal singing bowls, exploring low-frequency vibration through an immersive sound-bath experience. Together, the instruments create both an auditory and physical experience of sound, ranging from rhythm and resonance to long, slowly evolving fields of vibration.
The evening progresses from active participation to receptive listening—from breath and movement into stillness, reflection, and deep rest.
No previous experience is required.
There is no special dress code; please come as you are.
Participants are invited to find a comfortable position, close their eyes if they wish, and allow themselves to relax into the sound.
