About this Event
Presented as part of , Study Hall invites participants to engage with ideas of mythology, movement, disobedience, refusal, and dreaming.
Drawing on Fred Moten’s understanding of “study” as a continuous and lived experience, the program considers talking, walking, working, dancing, suffering, and gathering as forms of collective inquiry. Through poems, essays, films, embodied practice, and conversation, each gathering creates an intimate space for discussion, questioning, and discovery.
Study Hall serves as both a library of resources and a space for critical exchange. Monthly gatherings are hosted by Evelyn Amponsah, Tender Possibilities, and artist Anique Jordan.
