This half day event at the Staffordshire History Centre will introduce you to the historic dress and textile collections held in the Staffordshire Museum Collection. The session will cover the range of the collection, how it is cared for and how it is displayed.We will also take an an depth look at a selection of items from the collection and explore their stories and place in the wider collections.
Participants will be able to get up close to individual pieces, talk to staff and discover some of the fascinating facts about what goes into preserving and making this fabulous collection accessible to the people of Staffordshire and beyond.
