About this Event
Study Circle – Dental Restorative Level 4 with Dr Mateen Ahmad
The programme focuses on the advanced management of complex restorative cases, with particular emphasis on tooth wear, occlusion, and functional rehabilitation.
Led by Dr Mateen Ahmad , an experienced clinician with a special interest in restorative and aesthetic dentistry, this Study Circle provides delegates with the opportunity to explore advanced concepts in diagnosis, treatment planning, and predictable restorative care. Dr Ahmad’s clinical approach focuses on combining sound biological principles, careful planning, and a comprehensive understanding of occlusion to achieve stable and long-lasting outcomes for complex cases.
Through his experience in managing challenging restorative presentations, Dr Ahmad will share practical insights into assessing tooth wear, understanding functional changes, and developing structured treatment pathways for patients requiring rehabilitation. His teaching style focuses on translating evidence-based concepts into everyday clinical practice, helping clinicians enhance their confidence when approaching more complex restorative scenarios.
Delegates will engage in hands-on training, including stabilisation splint fabrication, allowing them to apply techniques in a practical setting and develop confidence in managing patients with functional and occlusal challenges. The programme will also cover the principles of occlusion, tooth wear assessment, restorative planning, and strategies for achieving predictable outcomes.
The course concludes with theory-based study circles, creating an interactive environment for delegates to discuss complex cases, share clinical experiences, and refine their approach to diagnosis, treatment planning, and restorative execution.
By combining Dr Ahmad’s clinical expertise with practical training and case-based discussion, this programme supports clinicians in developing a deeper understanding of advanced restorative dentistry and delivering functional, aesthetic, and predictable results for their patients.
