🎤 Students Ask. Candidates Answer. Community Engages.South High School students are taking the lead in shaping the civic conversation in South Omaha!
Join us for a nonpartisan candidate forum led by the South High Grassroots Leadership Development Program Student Ambassadors, in partnership with the Black, Brown, and Red Coalition.
📅 Thursday, October 8
🕠 5:30–9:00 p.m.
📍 South High School Theater
4519 South 24th Street, Omaha, NE
This isn't just another candidate forum.
It is an opportunity for young people to step into leadership, ask the questions that matter to them, and help create space for meaningful dialogue between candidates and the community.
Throughout the evening, South High student ambassadors will help guide the conversation and engage candidates on issues that matter to students, families, and South Omaha.
The forum is nonpartisan and open to the community. Our goal is to encourage civic participation, informed engagement, and meaningful conversation across our greater community.
And, of course, we'll have delicious Latino food to bring everyone together! 🌮❤️
Come listen. Come ask questions. Come learn. Come be part of the conversation.
Because civic leadership starts when we realize that our voices matter.
🎓 Led by South High students.
🤝 Supported by the Black, Brown, and Red Coalition.
🗣️ Open to all.
