Learn how to professionally construct a Custom Enclosed Wig using weft hair and a sewing machine with Rhonda Robinson, The Weave Genius.
Not every client wants or needs lace. The Custom Enclosed Wig provides a fully constructed alternative using weft hair only, creating complete coverage without a lace closure or frontal.
This hands-on class teaches the construction process from start to finish, with an emphasis on proper structure, weft placement, machine sewing, and creating a smooth, professional finished wig.
This class is suitable for beginners as well as experienced hair professionals looking to add another custom wig-making technique to their services.
What You’ll Learn
During this 4-hour hands-on class, you’ll learn:
• Sewing machine setup for wig construction
• Preparing the wig cap and foundation
• Working with bundled weft hair
• Proper weft placement and spacing
• Sewing wefts securely using a sewing machine
• Creating the enclosed top without lace
• Constructing a secure, smooth enclosure
• Attaching wig combs and bands
• Professional finishing techniques
• Creating a consistent and repeatable construction process
Depending on your experience and progress during class, you may complete a full Custom Enclosed Wig during the training.

A $175 deposit is required to reserve your seat and is applied toward the $475 total tuition.
The remaining $300 balance must be paid no later than 3 days before class.
Early registration is recommended because seating is limited and individual class supply kits are prepared in advance.

Students should arrive with all required items ready for hands-on training.
A sewing machine will also be available for class use if needed.
Hands-On Training
This is not demonstration-only training.
You will work directly on your wig construction during class while receiving instruction and corrections throughout the process.
The goal is for you to understand how and why the wig is constructed, so you can repeat the method independently for future clients or custom wig orders.
