In this workshop, RMT and educator Adam Leavens explores how joint mechanics and soft tissue patterns in the feet, knees, and pelvis can influence the low back. Rather than repeatedly treating the site of symptoms, Adam will encourage participants to consider the larger movement and postural patterns that may be contributing to recurring complaints.
Drawing on more than 22 years of clinical experience and extensive training in structural integration, functional movement, fascial fitness, and neurovascular release, Adam will examine the body as an interconnected system. Participants will learn practical ways to assess relationships between the feet, knees, pelvis, SI joint, and low back and consider how addressing these areas may support more effective, longer-lasting treatment outcomes.
Look Beyond the Symptom: Unlocking the Full-Chain Connections from the Feet Up
See the Big Picture:
Stop chasing pain and start seeing the full-body postural patterns driving issues from the feet up
Unlock the Joints:
Deepen your understanding of joint motion biomechanics from the feet to the pelvis and low back, with practical assessment and techniques to get them moving again.
Build a Foundation:
Learn how to assess and correct foot function, recognizing that the feet serve as the body’s base and dictate movement patterns further up the chain.
Master the Knee Link:
Discover the one overlooked knee movement—and the simple technique to fix it—that resolves a wide range of upstream issues.
Align the Pelvis:
Give the low back and SI joint a break by learning to restore pelvic alignment and mobility.
