Join us at Yoga Parlor for a beginner friendly self-defense class led by Cindy Naiditch. You’ll learn practical skills, connect with community-focused women, and leave feeling a confident and empowered.

About the class

Content includes effective kicking and striking techniques, targeting vital areas, getting away from grabs and what to do if on the ground. There is also a strong focus on situational awareness and understanding various danger scenarios (what to watch for). The course offers a quick set of skills that can be put to immediate use for self-protection.

, formerly known as A Safe Place and SASS, officially merged in July of 2015, making it the largest violence prevention and support services agency in NH.

HAVEN is dedicated to addressing public health through violence prevention and providing services to improve the well-being of children and families. Preventing abuse and providing support for those impacted by domestic and sexual violence leads to healthier, more secure children and adults.

Their mission is to prevent sexual assault, domestic violence, and stalking, and to support and empower all women, men, non-binary and transgender adults, youth and families to heal from abuse and rebuild their lives.

Their vision is to eliminate domestic and sexual violence through education, support and social change.  

Cindy has been studying Shaolin martial arts under Grandmaster DeMasco for over 30 years, and is a SDSS Instructors Academy graduate. In addition to teaching the Shaolin self-defense system, she holds a Black Sash in, and is certified to teach, the traditional kung fu animal forms, and several kung fu weapons. Cindy has traveled to China four times to train directly at the Shaolin Temple in Dengfeng, Henan Province, China. She also trains regularly at the Concord studio under Sr. Master Mark’s instruction. Instructing full-time at the studio, she has had a varied professional career that includes hospital administration, practicing attorney, director of a $20-million non-profit organization, adjunct college professor, and human resources professional.
