The London Network of Nurses and Midwives for Homelessness Group invite you to book your place at its annual conference taking place on Friday 21st June 2024 at 356 Holloway Road, London, England N7 6PA.
The theme this year is "Stronger together: advocating for ourselves and others".
This conference provides an opportunity for inclusion health nurses, midwives, allied health professionals, policy makers and people with lived experience of homelessness to come together for learning, sharing good practice and networking!
Participants will hear a range of professionals from across the sector, as well as network and engage with colleagues through interactive and engaging workshops and focus groups.
Confirmed speakers so far include:
- Dr Crystal Oldman CBE, Chief Executive (The Queen's Nursing Institute)
- Clare Capito, National A-EQUIP and PMA lead and Regional PNA programme lead in London (NHS England)
- Gill Taylor, ICS Programme Lead at Pathway & Chair of London Homelessness Health & Safeguarding Practice Development Group
Workshops will focus on supporting people with conditions such as Diabetes or Neurodiversity, Asylum Seekers, Homeless Families and Gypsy, Roma, Traveller communities. We will also look at Pathways into detox, Health Provision at night shelters, Executive Function, Health Priorities and Breaking down Stigma.
