Hey Strong Towners! It's time again for another get-together. On November 7th, we will be joined by Brock Bowers. You may be familiar with some of his buisnesses, such as Offbeat Coffee, Furbish, Fork Forty Food Hall, and Slick Licks Soft Serve. The businesses he has created often act as gathering points for people in Salem, and contribute to Salem being a "Strong Town". Read his bio below:
"Brock Bowers is a Salem-based entrepreneur who has spent over a decade branding, marketing, and creating businesses in his community. He began with Simplify Marketing, later helped develop the Fork Forty Food Hall and launched Slick Licks Soft Serve, partnered with Cindy and Joel Cowley at Furbish Salvage, and most recently founded Offbeat Coffee Co. A downtown resident for six years, Brock believes stronger communities start with better leadership, a little less ego, and a lot more kindness. He joins Strong Towns to explore why building a better Salem might have less to do with what we build and more to do with how we treat the people around us."
Please join us on November 7th and welcome Brock! As usual, we will be meeting from 9-10am in the back of Taproot Cafe. If you want to get a bite to eat beforehand, breakfast before 9am is half off.
