Novembrsko srečanje bomo posvetili koloriranju oziroma uporabi barv v stripu.
Studios, Passion Studios in Riot Games. Za avtorska stripa The Many Deaths of Laila Starr in Rare Flavours, ki ju je ustvaril s scenaristom Ramom V, je bil v več kategorijah nominiran za Eisnerjevo nagrado, za strip Cyberpunk 2077: Big City Dreams pa je prejel nagradi Hugo in Ringo.
Pogovor bo vodila Pia Nikolič.
Pogovor bo potekal v angleškem jeziku.

👩 Filipe Andrade and Pia Nikolič
Comic Book Academy is a monthly series that explores a new chapter in the world of comic book theory each month. Lectures on theory alternate with sessions dedicated to practical comic-making techniques.
Our November meeting will focus on colouring, or the use of colour in comics.
Portuguese comic book artist Filipe Andrade will share his perspective on the subject and discuss the techniques he uses in his work. He spent ten years drawing for Marvel (Hulk, Fantastic Four, Captain Marvel, Jessica Jones, and more) and has also worked with studios such as BOOM! Studios, Passion Studios, and Riot Games. For The Many Deaths of Laila Starr and Rare Flavours, both created in collaboration with writer Ram V, he received Eisner Award nominations in several categories. He also won Hugo and Ringo Awards for Cyberpunk 2077: Big City Dreams.
The discussion will be moderated by Pia Nikolič.
The event will be held in English.
