Strength, Balance & Mobility Exercise Class – Joydens WoodA friendly, physiotherapist-led weekly exercise class designed to help improve strength, balance, mobility and confidence with everyday movement.
Suitable for older adults, people who feel unsteady on their feet, people at risk of falls, and adults with disabilities or long-term health conditions who would benefit from a supportive and adaptable exercise class.
The class includes a mixture of:
• Strengthening exercises for the legs, arms and core
• Balance and stability exercises
• Mobility and functional movement practice
• Exercises to help with walking and transfers
• Falls-prevention focused exercises
• Seated and standing exercise options
• A structured warm-up and cool-down
Exercises can be adapted to suit different abilities, so you do not need to already be fit or confident with exercise.
The class is led by Tom Morgan, BSc Physiotherapy, HCPC and CSP registered physiotherapist, with experience supporting people with neurological conditions, mobility difficulties and musculoskeletal problems.
