About this Event
Featuring guest speakers like:
- Bill Lindeke, founder of Streets.mn and lecturer of Geography, Environment & Society at the U of M
- Ian R. Buck, host of the Streets.mn podcast
- And more to be announced
We will collectively celebrate the power of local, independent urbanist media while enjoying food, drinks, a silent auction, and good conversation.
We here at Streets.mn have a pitch: the idea is that anyone, including you, can write for us. If you care about land use or transportation in Minnesota, and you have an idea, that's all you need to get started. Our Winter Fundraiser will be a great chance for you to talk to like-minded urbanists and get inspired. We know that you have fantastic article ideas just waiting to be put onto paper!
All funds raised during this event will help us close our funding gap so we can provide you with content ad-free and publish more of the articles you know and love! If you've ever read or listened to content of ours that resonated with you, and you believe in our mission, this is your opportunity to help us reach a wider audience.
In a media landscape filled with anti-transit, anti-bike, anti-housing op-eds and articles, we are here to fight back. We're counting on you, dear readers! Let's come together and raise our collective voices. Here's to a more bikeable, walkable, livable future; one that we write together.
