About this Event
Join us as we remove litter and weeds, aerate soil, and add compost to street tree beds—while learning about the benefits of enhancing the green canopy across our urban environment. All supplies will be provided.
This Street Tree Care event is a collaboration between Pa'lante Community Garden, Pueblo Unido, Diversity Edible Farm Garden, Mission Garden, and Villa Santurce. We will also be joined by NYU students in the Give Where You Live service-learning program.
Plan ahead: Wear closed-toed shoes and comfortable clothes you don't mind getting dirty in. Bring water to stay hydrated.
Volunteers under age 18: Must submit a Minor Waiver + Photo Release signed by a parent/guardian. Bring a hard copy or email the completed forms to [email protected] or [email protected] along with any questions.
Location: Meet us at 1657 Madison Ave, New York, NY 10029
