Street Stylez: Rhythm & Roots is a 2v2 all‑styles battle showcasing some of the best upcoming and seasoned dancers in our local community. This event celebrates the artists who continue to build and shape our scene, both on and off the floor. With music powered by a local DJ and an emcee who are true pillars of hip‑hop and street‑dance culture, the energy stays authentic, raw, and deeply connected to our roots. Rhythm & Roots highlights the talent, creativity, and cultural leadership that keep our scene thriving.
Born and raised in Brampton, Rachel is a curator dedicated to helping local artists thrive and build sustainable careers in the arts. Through Th.Projects, she has co‑led numerous community events alongside Katheen Rivera, including The Basement Battle Series, anniversary battles, and workshops in the city. Her work centers on creating platforms that elevate Brampton’s dancers and celebrate the culture that continues to grow within the community.
