Every month or so, we invite folks to take on the challenge of writing & performing an original song or poem (or anything else!) about a book. Whether you’ve written hundreds of songs and poems or if you’ve never tried to write one before in your life – Strawberry Hill Singin’ Book Club is meant for you. This time, we're reading Shirley Jackson's classic psychological horror novel 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘏𝘢𝘶𝘯𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘰𝘧 𝘏𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘏𝘰𝘶𝘴𝘦.
We've got copies available at Flagship. Please buy the book from us, or borrow it from a friend or from the library. It's also available on Libro.Fm, which is a great way to support Flagship if you prefer audiobooks.
If you're interested in performing a piece you've written, please sign up here: https://forms.gle/Nc5do5hFnXbeLBBq7
If you just want to read the book and come listen to other people’s songs and poems, you’re welcome to do that, too. Feel free to bring a drink or snack to help share.
