Join us at Lukas Nursery in Oviedo, FL on October 24th at 10am for our Secret to Strawberry Gardening Seminar, led by one of our certified horticulturists. This seminar is perfect for beginner and home gardeners, central Florida gardening enthusiasts, and anyone interested in starting a productive strawberry patch!
During the seminar, you’ll learn how to:
- Plant bare root & potted strawberries for a strong start
- Care for your strawberries throughout the season
- Identify common pests and diseases
- The best fertilizers for you berries
- Harvest sweet, juicy berries right from your own garden
We’ll be featuring our Florida Encore and Pearl Pineberry bare root strawberries so you can follow along and start your garden right away.
Come ready for a day of fun! We will also be hosting a planting workshop, where you can use our soil to learn how to properly plant your berries and start off on the right foot.
Svea Scandinavian food truck will be here on the serving delicious iced coffee, sandwiches, and buns to keep you satiated all day long. 🧋 In the mood for something sweet? Cookie Boutique and Chuck's Italian Ice will be here serving sweet treats! 🍦
