About this Event
Elegance meets earthquake.
The LLS Orchestra — 72 musicians led by founder and Music Director Simona Grossi — presents the second concert of its 2026/27 season.
The Program
Reinecke — Flute Concerto in D major, featuring our Principal Flute Roger Justo as soloist: a lyrical, virtuosic showcase from the Romantic era's great flute composer.
Stravinsky — The Rite of Spring: the 1913 score that caused a riot at its premiere, still the most seismic piece of the 20th century.
Every LLS concert opens with spoken introductions from the podium — stories and live musical demonstrations before the music begins. The part of the evening our audiences tell us they love most.
