Panelist Bio:

Alyza Keshavjee: In her role, Alyza harnesses the power of Google data to deliver relevant and unique consumer and business insights for Canada’s largest advertisers. Alyza has built high performing teams in analytics, marketing, technology, agile development and strategy at Google, Manulife and at the Boston Consulting Group. She is a graduate of the Richard Ivey School of Business at Western University and holds an MBA from Harvard Business School.


Sharifa Khan: Sharifa created Balmoral Multicultural Marketing in 1989, Canada’s first agency dedicated to helping clients connect and engage with thriving immigrant communities. Today, Sharifa continues to trail-blaze, leading an award-winning team of ethnic marketers who have taken minority marketing mainstream. She currently hosts“The Multicultural Marketing Podcast” – the first of its kind in Canada, designed to build “bridges of understanding” between marketers, governments, media and diverse audiences.

A member of Canada’s Marketing Hall of Legends, Sharifa is recognized as one of the top women leaders in Toronto. She was the first female president of the Toronto Chinese Business Association, and the first minority group female vice president of the Canadian Club. Sharifa’s historic work as co-founder of the Toronto International Dragon Boat Race Festival shaped our city’s waterfront and has been instrumental in the success and popularity of this multicultural event in Canada.


Jennifer Ménard-Shand: Jennifer is a First Nations Ojibwe and French-Canadian wife, mother, entrepreneur, and speaker. She began her career in 2006 with MLSE. In 2008, she made her mark in Staffing at one of Toronto’s most trusted full-service recruitment agencies, The Bagg Group. In 2013, she created Bagg @ Your Service - the firm’s first hospitality and event division, before purchasing her creation in 2018 and launching it independently as Staff Shop. Today, Jennifer lives the dream of leading a purpose-driven organization as the founder & CEO of this Toronto-born business, servicing hundreds of clients in various sectors across North America and deploying thousands of employees across Canada -as an award-winning, certified Indigenous & Women-owned staffing and consulting firm.


Jean-Pierre Lacroix: JP is President and Chief Strategy Officer of the brand transformation design firm Shikatani Lacroix. A visionary design thinker and futurist, author, speaker, and creator of the Blink Factor principles, JP maintains an unwavering focus on the latest and emerging trends. He is focused on producing measurable results that have staying power through emotionally connected design solutions.
