With over 17 years touring internationally at more than 155 festivals, Jon has taken the stage everywhere from comedy clubs to The Moth Main Stage. His stories have aired on NPR, PBS, and top podcasts around the globe. He’s also contributed to two New York Times bestselling books (Occasional Magic and How to Tell a Story).
Whether you’re a beginner with no idea where to start or a performer looking to sharpen your craft, this 3–4 hour workshop will give you tools, confidence, and inspiration. Expect laughs, surprises, and maybe even a little magic.
What to bring: A laptop or pen and paper, plus (if you’d like) a short story idea you want to develop.
What you’ll leave with: Storytelling techniques, stronger performance skills, a new or improved story, and a big grin on your face.
