Charlotte Storytellers is a community organization dedicated to bringing people together through the art of true, personal storytelling. For over a decade, we've helped individuals discover, develop, and share meaningful stories from their own lives, building connections, fostering understanding, and celebrating the experiences that make us human.
What Our Workshops Are Like
Our workshops are welcoming, relaxed, and collaborative spaces where storytellers of all experience levels can explore their creativity. Each session includes opportunities to connect with others, learn practical storytelling techniques, participate in fun exercises, and spend time writing and sharing stories.
Whether you're preparing for the stage or simply looking to find your voice, our workshops provide a supportive environment to grow, experiment, and connect with a community that believes everyone has a story worth telling.

Check-Ins
Info: Check-ins are our way of taking the temperature of the room and seeing how everyone is doing! What's been going on in your world this week? Got a burning question that's been bouncing around your brain? Have anything strange or interesting happen recently? Check-ins give everyone about two minutes to share what's on their mind, how they're feeling, or simply what's happening in their lives. No pressure, no expectations, just a chance to connect before we get started!

Info: This is the part of each meeting where our stories come to life! Think The Moth Radio Hour, but live, up close, and personal. Whether you're sharing a polished story, trying out something new, or simply enjoying the experience as a listener, this is our time to connect through storytelling. Those who share can receive thoughtful, supportive feedback if they'd like, but there's never any pressure. Just real people sharing real stories in a welcoming space.
