Story Time at the New Bedford Fishing Heritage Center
Join us for a fun and engaging Story Time at the New Bedford Fishing Heritage Center! Each week, we'll dive into a different story inspired by New Bedford's working waterfront, fishing heritage, and ocean life. From colorful sea creatures to tales of fishermen, boats, and the harbor, every session offers something new to discover.
Children are encouraged to participate by asking questions, sharing their ideas, and even recommending books they'd like to read in future story times. We love making this a fun, interactive experience for curious young readers!
Admission is free, but donations are greatly appreciated.
This year marks our 10th year in New Bedford, and we're celebrating with our "$10 for 10 Years" campaign. If you're able, we encourage a $10 donation to help us continue providing this beloved community program for years to come. Every contribution supports educational programming and helps keep Story Time accessible for all families.
All children are welcome and must be accompanied by an adult throughout the program.
