STORY BALLET is a surreal dance theatre quintet by Pittsburg-born multidisciplinary performance entity, slowdanger, that re-contextualizes Symphonie Fantastique (1830), a composition by Hector Berlioz, using innovative technology as an artistic medium. Noir lighting, holographic projections akin to 1800’s Pepper’s Ghost illusions, motion capture, sculptural laser walls and live sound sampling reinforce the performers’ descent into a phantasmagoric nightmare.This is an Eisemann Edge Initiative project.
