Stories We Tell: RochdaleJoin us for an immersive night-time light and audio experience that brings Rochdale’s streets to life through the real stories of local people.
Audiences are invited to walk through the heart of the town while listening to powerful binaural soundscapes featuring everyday moments, personal histories and reflections from the people who call Rochdale home. Through projected imagery and immersive storytelling, we bring familiar streets to life in new and unexpected ways.
Originally created in Rochdale in 2021 and returning earlier this year for a sold-out run during Rochdale’s Greater Manchester Town of Culture programme, this is your very last chance to enjoy this unique experience.
The route is step-free and suitable for wheelchair users and prams. Headphones, guidance and support from volunteers will be provided.
This project is kindly funded by the Rochdale Borough Council.
