About this Event
Children’s literature offers a powerful and engaging way to support physical literacy in early childhood settings. This interactive workshop will explore how books can be used as a catalyst for movement, play, and whole-child development.
Participants will discover practical strategies to extend storytime beyond reading by incorporating movement-based activities that promote balance, coordination, strength, and confidence. Through hands-on examples and discussion, educators will learn how to create inclusive movement experiences, and intentionally connect physical literacy to story telling.
Suited for: All RECEs, ECAs, ECE Students, Supervisors, Child Care Workers, Community Partners, Home Child Care Providers and Home Child Care Visitors.
