Free Monthly Nature Therapy Group

Unplug. Process. Restore.

Are you a healthcare worker, therapist, social worker, first responder, educator or professional caregiver? The heavy emotional weight of helping others can lead to Secondary Traumatic Stress and compassion fatigue.

Take a breath and step away from the clinical setting. Join fellow service providers for a gentle, restorative monthly gathering outside in the quiet beauty of the natural land. Together, we will practice nature-based somatic grounding, sensory awareness, and peer solidarity to regulate our nervous systems and build lasting resilience.

Every 4th Wednesday of the month, with some rotating dates.

What We Will Do
Sound Bath with Crystal Singing Bowls: Participants will be invited to set an intention for themselves before finding a comfortable position for a 50 minute sound bath with crystal singing bowls. Yoga mats and bolsters will be provided.
Visualization and Grounding: Visualization and grounding exercises will precede and follow the sound bath to support a nurturing experience.
Nervous System Regulation: Group reflection to support oneself and one another.
Confidential Peer Solidarity: Safe, non-clinical spaces for local providers to share resources and alleviate professional isolation
How to Prepare
Dress comfortably: Wear seasonally appropriate clothing you can comfortably sit or recline in.
Bring a water bottle: Sound healing is energy work! Stay hydrated during or following the experience.
An open mind: No previous meditation experience is required.
BRING COMFORT ITEMS: blankets, yoga mats, gravity chairs, sitting pillows, eye masks, or anything else to make you comfortable or support you throughout the experience.

This relaxation and reflection-focused sound healing group is a space for professional support and regulation, not group therapy or processing. We gather to connect with the outdoors, ourselves, and each other to restore our baseline, rather than to clinically unpack or discuss traumatic events.
*Contraindications to sound healing events include first trimester of pregnancy, epilepsy or seizure disorder, electronic medical implant devices.

To remove financial barriers to critical mental wellness resources, this is a mutual aid community care endeavor, no capital is exchanged. If you are interested in facilitating one of the monthly STOP groups, please email Annie at [email protected].
