Join DJ Stone for an evening of tribal, disco, electronic, bass, and world music — a music journey built to move you through an emotional arc, from grounding into wild release and back to stillness.

Stone is a psychotherapist, dad, psychonaut, DJ, and mystic who has spent the last 5 years guiding others through inner journeys. His own relationship with dance began in the rave scene, where techno music cracked open the door to profound embodiment. Later, he found even more physical liberation and freedom of expression in ecstatic dance and contact improv.
He leads people on an expedition through music genres and emotions — an eclectic journey spanning tribal, world music, shamanic, organic, electro, downtempo, swampy bass, dubstep, drum n bass, techno, electronica, psychedelic trance, and more. He's also the founder of the Hamilton Conscious Collective.
What is Ecstatic Dance?
• Free-form. Ecstatic Dance is a free-form movement practice — an invitation to move however feels true for you, while staying aware and respectful of the space and people around you. No judgment. There's no "right" or "wrong" way to move here. Let that idea go.
• Phone-free. This is a space to be experienced through your senses, not your screen. Our designated team member takes occasional photos/videos for promotion, and we don't feature identifiable faces without your okay — reach out if you have concerns. Phones are welcome outside the dance space.
• Speech-free. Vocal expression — sounds, breath, release — is welcome. Conversations belong outside the room. Quick exchange is okay.
• Alcohol-free. We believe in the power of music and movement.
• Scent-aware. Please go easy on scents — some of us are sensitive.
• Bare feet encouraged. Take off your outdoor shoes and feel the ground beneath you. If there's a medical reason not to, you can use a pair of clean indoor shoes or rubber-bottom anti-slip socks.
• Consent. You are welcome to dance solo, partner, or group. If you want to dance with someone else, check in first: look for a clear "yes" (eye contact, mirrored movement) and get verbal consent before any touch. A "no" — including someone simply not engaging — deserves full respect. When a shared dance ends, offer a small gesture of thanks (a bow, a namaste) to close the exchange.
• Inclusive. Everyone's welcome, including supervised children, as long as they understand and honor these agreements.
