Come enjoy music, entertainment, food trucks, and education at Thrive Alabama’s Stomp Out HIV health fair. Join us Saturday, June 26 from 1-5 pm in Huntsville’s Big Spring Park East. This community resource fair in the park will highlight groups and organizations in Huntsville promoting overall health, wellness, and social services within our community. The Stomp Out HIV event will feature free on-site HIV testing in ThriveMobile, our 33 ft. mobile testing unit. The afternoon will be an enjoyable family experience for the community. The event coincides with National HIV Testing Day. On this day we encourage people to get tested for HIV, know their status, and get linked to care and treatment. CDC recommends that everyone between the ages of 13 and 64 get tested for HIV at least once as part of routine health care. People at higher risk should get tested more often.
