Join us for a hands-on, creative embroidery workshop where you'll learn the art of hand stitching to create your own pieces!
You will choose from a selection of curated exclusive design templates and learn tips, techniques, and proper positioning to transfer the design to your clothing or accessory.
Each participant will begin hand-stitching an exclusive line drawn design, fill the piece using contrasting colors to create texture, and add materials for applique or sculpting in a relaxing, welcoming, creative environment designed for all skill levels.
Whether you are brand new to stitching or looking for a mindful creative escape, this workshop is the perfect way to slow down and create something beautiful with your hands.
You will be guided with step by step instructions on 5 fundamental stitches.
Select from a range of embroidery floss colors to bring your design to life.
Each participant will receive:
- an embroidery hoop
- a needle
- a selection of embroidery floss
- a choice of exclusive designs
By the end of the session, you will have explored stitching techniques, a mindful practice, and how to continue creating for your personal style.
Depending on size, complexity and your stitching pace one motif can take an hour to complete.
Please bring your preferred tools, such as a thimble or threader.
