About this Event
Bring your knitting or crochet project and settle in for a relaxing evening of wine, creativity, and connection. This experience centers around a guided tasting, followed by open time to enjoy your craft in a welcoming, social setting.
In this class, you will enjoy a 45-minute guided tasting led by our wine expert, featuring three Italian wines from distinct regions and grape varietals. Each wine will be paired with antipasti, and you’ll learn about the history and stories behind every selection.
After the tasting concludes, the evening transitions into a casual, self-guided crafting session. Continue working on your current WIP, connect with fellow members of the yarn community, and enjoy your surroundings at your own pace. You’re also welcome to browse a curated selection from our local yarn partners to discover your next project.
This is not a formal crafting class—just a thoughtfully hosted wine tasting followed by dedicated time and space to relax, create, and connect.

About Sister-Atrs Studio:
Located in the heart of Chicago’s Lincoln Park, Sister-Arts Studio is a welcoming space for beautiful yarn, creative inspiration, and community—making it the perfect partner for our Stitch & Sip experience. For over twenty years, Sister-Arts has offered knitting and crochet classes for makers of all levels, as well as after-school lessons and summer camps for kids. With a huge selection of natural, high quality yarns from around the world and warm, supportive environment, Sister-Arts Studio is the place to start your next project.

• Please note, class includes a guided tasting and is not hands-on.
• Seating is guaranteed but is first-come, first-served. Check-in starts 10 minutes before the start of class.
• Duration is approximate and may vary by 10-15 minutes.
• All guests planning to consume alcohol must be able to produce valid government-issued identification to prove they are 21 or older.
• Pricing is inclusive of service and exclusive of Chicago sales tax.

Payment, refund and cancellation policies
Payment in full is required at the time of registration and all sales are final. No refunds are offered on classes and events due to limited space in our schools. For groups of 5-10 guests, a minimum of 7 days' notice is required to receive a credit in the form of a coupon for a future class or event. For groups of up to 4 guests, a minimum of 48 hours' notice is required to receive a credit in the form of a coupon code for a future class or event at La Scuola. We reserve the right to reschedule or cancel a class or event due to unforeseen circumstances, inclement weather or otherwise. In the event of a class or event cancellation, we will contact you directly at the phone number or email address you have provided to offer a full refund or credit to transfer to a future class or event. While we are not able to offer credit, transfers or refunds for last-minute illnesses, work-related conflicts, personal emergencies or events beyond our control, you are always welcome to send someone in your place, as we understand that these things do happen. If you are purchasing this class or event as a gift, please provide this cancellation policy to the recipient, as the policy will still apply. Credits issued for La Scuola events are redeemable ONLY for future La Scuola events and cannot be used to register for events in other parts of the marketplace or exchanged for store credit or Eataly gift cards.
