About this Event
Join TaskForce Prevention & Community Services for the PrEP4Teens Youth Leadership Committee (YLC) Showcase, a celebration of creativity, knowledge, and youth-led impact. Throughout the program, participants worked as researchers, artists, and community leaders, grounding their work in lived experience and peer insight to shape programming that truly reflects their generation's needs.
At this culminating event, youth leaders present original creative projects that transform what they’ve learned about PrEP and HIV prevention into powerful visual art, storytelling campaigns, interactive activities, and peer-led presentations. Each piece reflects not only their growing knowledge but also their commitment to making health education accessible, relatable, and rooted in real conversations.
The showcase also highlights the leadership journey of each participant. As peer educators and program advisors, these young people directly contributed to outreach strategies, workshop design, and community engagement approaches, ensuring PrEP4Teens remains authentic and youth-driven.
More than an exhibit, this event is an invitation: to witness how young people are reshaping public health, to engage with their ideas, and to celebrate their role as artists, advocates, and change-makers in their communities.
