About this Event
This workshop brings together art, mindfulness, and sound therapy.
What to expect
Participants will be able to work on a fiber art/small-scale art project that can be completed while seated, in their laps, while being guided through mindfulness, a sound bath (crystal bowls, ocean drum), and a loving kindness practice.
What is loving kindness (metta)?
The loving kindness (metta) meditation includes sending intentions of loving kindness to ourselves, our loved ones, and then to others in the community.
This particular guided practice will include sending intentions of loving kindness to Southwestern Asia, which includes Levant (Palestine and surrounding area) and Iran, for safety, peace, and freedom.
What to bring

Due to the setup of the event, there will be no tables; please bring a compact art project that you can complete while seated, in your lap.
