About this Event

Running a business isn't easy, and there's a STEEP learning curve! Whether you're a solo practitioner or leading a team, you don't have to figure it all out alone.
Join us for the launch of our Creative Maker Business Support Group! We will learn the "Finance 101" basics, and then take time for one-on-one help with budgeting, taking inventory, and more!
Come learn, connect, and share ideas with fellow maker/vendors in a relaxed, welcoming environment. We'll have hot chocolate and tea waiting!
Bring your questions, grab a warm drink, and let's build something great together!
Donations encouraged!
INSTRUCTOR BIO
Julia Coen-Hall
Financial Professional | Financial Literacy Advocate | Community Supporter

Originally from Houston, Texas, Julia is a financial professional with New York Life that is licensed in NY, TX, PA, CO, and NC. Fleeing the cold, she moved to Latrobe, PA fresh out of high school and is a graduate of Saint Vincent College. During her time there, she was recognized by three academic honor societies: Alpha Lambda Delta (ALD), Delta Mu Delta, and the Aurelius Scholar program, a Saint Vincent-specific distinction. Through her connection with the New York Life Foundation, she is passionate about supporting veteran nonprofits, food pantries, and organizations that strengthen underserved communities.
Her decision to enter financial services stems from a core belief: financial literacy should be a life skill, not a privilege. She is passionate about helping young women, children, and families without generational wealth understand essential financial concepts, from tax-advantaged retirement planning and responsible debt management to building generational wealth. As an instructor, she strives to make financial education approachable, practical, and accessible to everyone.
Outside of work, Julia is a proud wife of a veteran, mother to her daughter, and cat owner. She enjoys writing, knitting, and cooking new meals as often as she can. Through financial education and community engagement, she hopes to empower individuals and families to build healthier financial habits and stronger futures.
