Stillness & Insight: A Meditation on True Listening

In a world overflowing with noise, distraction, and mental clutter, the ability to truly listen has become a lost art. This lecture explores the profound inner science behind psychological listening — the capacity to receive reality without distortion.

Drawing from universal spiritual traditions and the teachings in The Art of Inner Silence, we will explore:

• How the mind filters reality through memory, fear, pride, and past impressions
• Why authentic perception requires emptying the inner bowl
• The difference between mechanical reaction and conscious action
• The Lakota teaching of the still heart
• The “Illuminated Gallery”: harmonizing the intellect, emotion, and body
• How breath, desire, and the ego’s chatter shape our inner world
• The spiritual physics of becoming an upward vessel — ready to receive truth

As the teaching says:
“To listen is to stop. To listen is to awaken.”

• Guided introspective meditation
• Practices for quieting the inner noise
• Techniques for observing the present moment without distortion
• A deep exploration of spiritual receptivity and inner transformation
• A welcoming space for seekers of mindfulness, meditation, and authentic spirituality
