About this Event

StillMe: Rethinking Dementia Care in Canada – A Better Way Forward

Join us for an evening of bold ideas, meaningful conversation, and real solutions.

StillMe brings together people living with and impacted by dementia, care partners, healthcare professionals, community organizations, and system leaders to explore how dementia care in Canada can work better for everyone. This event is about shifting from frustration to possibility, and focusing on what it will take to build a more coordinated, compassionate, and accessible system.

With more than 50,000 Albertans currently living with dementia and numbers expected to double in the next 15 years, the need for change has never been more urgent. Across Canada, nearly 750,000 people are living with dementia today, yet too many families are left navigating a fragmented and overwhelming system on their own.

Drawing on insights from the Brainwell Institute’s Mind the Gap report and real-world examples, this event will highlight practical solutions and inspire collective action.
