About this Event
Sometimes the journey that carries us through grief begins with a single step.
Marathon runner, columnist, hypnotherapist and author Lisa Jackson joins writer, journalist and coach Suzy Walker for a moving conversation about loss, resilience and the transformative power of movement.
Having completed more than 100 marathons across 22 countries, Lisa has become one of the leading voices in the slow-running movement, championing the idea that running is not about speed or competition, but connection, mindfulness and finding strength one step at a time. In her deeply personal new book, Still Running After All These Tears, Lisa shares how running helped her navigate profound grief, offering a powerful reminder that movement can provide comfort, healing and hope even in life's darkest moments.
Suzy has written for everyone from The Times to Cosmo, and is the former editor of Psychologies magazine and is now Editor-in-Chief of Platinum magazine. An author, coach and journalist, she has interviewed everyone from Oprah to the Dalai Lama. She also runs the Heart Leap writing community and co-founded Alnwick Story Fest.
Honest, uplifting and profoundly human, this is a conversation about finding a way forward, the healing power of nature and movement, and the courage it takes to keep going.
