STEREO NAKED – Americana / FolkSimsalabim – Stereo Naked consists of New Zealand’s top-notch double bassist Pierce Black and local banjo virtuoso Julia Zech. With this unusual combination, they enchant their audience. The two found each other through the Cologne bluegrass scene, and from there they developed their very own folky “naked” sound. Their quest is driven by a dedication: to seduce and be seduced. Dissolved chords that bring tears without sorrow. At their live concerts, charm collides with dry humor, and every song is a little hand-crafted story. What Stereo Naked embodies is their shared passion: to bring bluegrass out of its niche and, through their songwriting, transform it into something playful and touching for a broad audience… Bambasala
They were booked to perform with us years ago, but were kept from coming due to circumstances beyond their control. Now , finally, finally, they’re on our stage, and with their violinist Joon, they use their music to conjure rays of sunshine onto the soul… Dusaladim!

KRAZY & RADEK – German-Polish songwriting
Krazy has been a source of inspiration for us ever since our legendary 2008 festival at the Orangerie. Together we’ve released a CD, produced readings, and made a video. She’s written countless songs, which she performs on guitar, and we’re just as proud as we are thrilled that her success is taking hold—slowly but surely. Because she’s an important voice in our city.
Radek Stawarz recently joined the fold. There’s nothing to say about Radek: He’s been a musical universe all his own since at least the days of Turbo-Pascal! When they played at our research lab DURST about a year ago, there was no stopping them.
